I have been using realflight G2 and recently G3 almost everyday for the past 2 years. I have gotten quite good at flying heli's on the sim and have also done well with 4 channel electrics. I just bought a Caliber 30 with the Futaba 401 gyro and Futaba 7ch radio. I guess what I need to know now are what kinds of things should I watch out for that the sim didn't cover? I plan on joining a local club soon so that I can get some help not only flying but getting the heli setup (pitch curve??? whats a pitch curve?). Any other pointers you could pass along would greatly help. Oh one more thing, should I invest in a head speed govenor?

Thanks
Greg

it's not nessecery to have a gov. It's best to learn how to set one up with out one. using one you will only cheat yourself.

Pitch curve and throttle curves are similar in set up. the pitch curve is pre set pitch points that set in your trans and on the heli. there are three different ones.
Normal, Stut (idle up), Hold (auto curve) the instructions should cover the Deg's in pitch needed for you Caliber if you have the manual.

Good luck and Find some help
