Please join us in welcoming Greg Alderman to join our growing team at HeliDirect as Technical Manager. Greg Alderman has been involved in RC aviation hobby since 1978 and has been flying RC helicopters since 1989. Greg has owned and flown a variety of helicopters from micro electrics to 40lb turbine camera ships and airplanes from small electrics to 40% Scale models. Greg also flown for Bergen R/C Helicopters since 2004, was heavily involved in the testing and development in the Bergen Intrepid Turbine, Bergen E-Magnum 90 size electric and the industrial E-Observer camera ship.
Greg also helds several important positions on AMA such as the Contest Director and Life Member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), approved by the AMA to sign off AMA members for Turbine Waiver. Greg is also involved with the AMA Safety Committee dealing with Turbine Helicopters. Before joining HeliDirect, Greg is a 24-year veteran of the US Navy Submarine Force.
Greg will work closely with Charley Stephens in desinging our new Outrage helicopter line and also support customers and dealers with telephone support. With many years of experiences in flying and designing helicopters and a strong background in technical, Greg will lead our technical service team as HeliDirect and PRESTIGE RC Technical Manager to bring our customer support to a great new level.
