can anyone tell me how these work and where do the light diodes and wires go?

the blades mount just like normal tail blades and the light diode mounts anywhere on the tail that allows it to shine on the blades. i am using them on my trex600 right now with the diode mounted on the vertical tail fin pointed at the blades. i dont know if it is the cold right now or not but they do not seem to glow very bright.
