Charley that heli is really looking good. Their are a few things that is keep me from buying the Trex-500. (not knocking it has a great performer)
a. Price :o
b. Motor Options (Only Align motors fit)
c. Only available with motor/esc/bec in the kit, not without as an option:arggg:
As I understand it the HDX500RV is able to accommodate several different motors. Is this true? What are we looking at ballpark when it comes to the kit price? Will it be available with or without ESC/Motor & main blades?
If this becomes my next bird of choice I will be doing a build thread like I did for the Logo 6003D http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=47241
I'm eagerly awaiting the final prototyping and production of this beautiful bird.:happyd

Jeremy,
Yes the HDX500RV can accept some rather large dia. motors and both 94 and 130t main gears
Price is still in the workz but it will be priced as a great value
Kits and kit combos is yet to be determined so stay tuned

a. The HDX500SA is only 199usd with FG blades, with new mixing arms, Seesaw hub, new cnc aluminum center hub and other parts should not more than 250usd. Then if add motor and esc combo will be about 350usd.
b. Yes we can allow different motor sizes and battery sizes.
We will sell the HDX500SA Kit + new upgrade kit for 3D (see pic attached) for 249usd (with FG blades) so people can have extra spare parts if replace stock parts with new upgrade parts.
