I just got a G4 Simulator and apparently I have a video card problem according to the Knifedge people. I have GeForce MX 64MG ram now.
What GeForce do I need to get for “adequate” performance, don’t want to spend any more than necessary not a gamer.
What are your recommendations? Thanks for your help.

According to the Real Flight websites a 3D accelerated video card with 256 MB of dedicated video memory is required for optimal performance. Always go by the optimal or recommended requirements. When software manufacturers list minimal requirements it’s the absolute minimum you need to launch the software which doesn’t mean it will run well.

I’ve run G3.5 on both an nVidia GeForce 6600GT and 8800GT. Both work just fine and you should be able to find the 6600 from $40 to $90 depending on the manufacturer. I recommend EVGA but Gigabyte also makes good nVidia cards.
