The stab bar on my evo 50 slides ok until the end goes into the plastic piece then it stops. Is there a secret to getting it out?

Just give it a good tug. Sometimes they can get hung up when the threaded ends get to the metal inserts. If it's really stuck, you can slide it back out some and then cut off the threaded portion (assuming you are removing a bent flybar that you don't intend to reuse).

If it's really stuck and you don't want to cut it, find something about the same diameter (3MM) and hold it to the end of the bar that's caught and tap it with a hammer. That ought to push it though.

I'll try that tonight, thanks!

I had another thought...The flybar carrier (where it's getting stuck) has a set screw on the top and the bottom (4 total). Be sure you have removed all four set screws.

I did, it must be the threads or something.

Cool! :glasses: That's usually all it takes.
