Looks like someone is going to be having some fun!! Were you able to order them all from the same place or did you have to piece it out? What are your plans for batteries? I'd love to see more picts of the conversion itself! Have fun!

I got everything from TPPacks.com (More coming) and I ordered the dampeners from CarbonXtreme's online store.

Hope to have it flying ASAP.

Thanks for the interest. I to am really enthralled by the new E-Technology, but an Ion-X (ROCKS) is just a little out of my price range. I wanted a heli that would run off 1 10s pack and only be flying with 1/2 the $$ in batts that could be damaged in a crash.

Since I am an old fart and can't see nearly as good as I once could, I also wanted something a lot bigger than a micro. (T-REX)

Hopefully this will be the setup. If I like it a lot, I will convert my #2 R50 to Electric power to.

I saw one fly a Las Vegas and I don't think you'll be dissapointed with it. It should do fine at the 3D that us old farts do!

Thanks for asking Nigel. I have flown the machine 21 flights now. LOVE IT! Evrybody who flys it loves it. Hopefully I can get H to the C to do a demo that I can film very soon. Get my canopies from Ricko at Chattanooga Event. Can't wait!!

All I can say is that this little Raptor 50 flys AMAZINGLY crips with this much power. I spen about 4+ hours trying to program my 9Z for this heli and last Sunday during about another 5 hours of rain. Clintstone and HC helped to finish the program. THis heli is SOOOO quick with the Z! Man oh man was it ever worth the work programming. I can't stay away from this heli.

All I can say is don't try one or you will be hooked to. Amazing how much a huge amount of power helps you do maneuvers you had a hard time with on less power.

Only drawback besides cost, is you only get 5 or 6 minutes per balls to the walls flights!

Sounds like your having great fun there, if I had the cash spare I would love to do the conversion, those videos of the Szabos flying that setup really are amazing, like you said it has so much power. If you can try and get us a vid of your bird in flight.

Yeah seems short but hey, it doesn't cost a thing to refuel ehh heerrrrrm...... "recharge" and fly again. Two battery packs will sort you out, 12 mins of flight with that beast of a machine would be more than enough for me for the days flying. :)

I am considering getting another pack, but I have to save up first. Thsin one has worked flawlessly so far.

I will try to get some video at the Chattanooga event.
