This is the only problem I have heard of with the 5245MG's: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8830234&postcount=377

HS 82 digitals (HS5082) are going to be released in Feb according to Tower. Just another option.

I order 4 of the 9257 but they are on back order and I work at a hobby store so I will cancel 3 of them. Thanks for your input.

Yes, I wanted the HS5082MG also, I'll switch out to them whan they come out. I may even try the HS5083MG if they sell them by themself without the gyro.

What are you using on the tail for a servo/gyro combo. I got a 3 9650's and a gy401 for $55 buck's, but it looks as though I should get hs5245"s. I have also originally thought of a jr 3400g for the tail? any more thoughts on this?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Sorry to be a pain but can someone please answer my question.....

Have they adressed the problem by sticking extra spacers in the kits????

Or is it unknown????

No. They havent fixed it. I got my kit yesterday and it did not come with enough spacers.

If this is such a big deal to you, I wouldnt bother buying the heli.

FYI, It took me roughly 2 1/2 minutes to make my own spacers for the elevator servo.

I think the JR z3650s would be super. They are basically metal gear 3400s. :)

Pinecone, I agree the Z3650 looks like the best bet ( wee bit expensive ). I have 4 on order right now. The Trex 500 will be dropped off by the UPS man on Mon.

It should be a fun build !
