Yup, the "Add to Cart" button went live today, finally. I got my order in for one of each. The Programmer looks really cool, with the ability to program the receivers and transmitter modules wirelessly from your PC. Also has a spectrum analyzer, virtual transmitter, and a virtual receiver utility to test either end of the system with a PC.
I wonder if I can use it to fly my T-rex from my laptop and a gamepad?
How about using it for simulators - bypassing the Tx cable? Is it possible in some way?

I don't think the communication will work for that...it will only talk to the XDP software, I would imagine. They are working on a simulator device, however.
Cool.
Now I need to send in my module and Rxs for update...
Can it be used in some way to measure the singnal strength at Rx during range check? Also packet drop count?
This is very cool tool - firmware update, Rx programming....

You don't need to update your module and RXs to use the XDP...all the utilities are supposed to work, with the exception of the firmware update...and you really don't need to bother with that for some time anyways.
It does have a signal strengh indicator, from what I read. I will offer a report on these features when I get mine.

I orderd one of each also. We will see how long it takes to actually get here. But not too big of a deal. I can still fly while waiting for them to arrive.

Yeah, got my shipping notice today, too! It took em awhile to ship em, that's for sure.
I actually put an 8ch in my T-rex for a while, until I dumped it doing autos. Now, i have an excuse to fix it (8ch went back into another bird).
