Do I have a bad bran new TP Lipo ??!!! :(

Well I just finished soldering the female deans connector to the main leads of my brand new Thunder power 3S 1p 11.1 V 2100 mah and when I hooked the balancing tap to my balancer nothing happened .. and the charger gave me a no battery alarm ... so what do u thing ,, is it dead already or should I try to check the balancing wires coming from the cells ??

No I've another Battery just the same Tp prolite 2100 mah 121.1 v and works just fine ..

Whats the voltage reading on your charger connected to the power leads ? Dead cells crop up in new lipos quite often - it's worth hooking up a balancer to the taps BEFORE soldering or cutting the power leads as it makes warrantly claims much easier

I had a new 5S 2100 show up with one cell at 1.5 volts. Light Flight R/C replaced it no questions asked and even paid for return shipping.

Well Bishop power products "www.b-p-p.com" just sent me an email and u know what they r excellent .. they said they will replace it at no extra charge although the 30 day warrenty by them has already expired .... they r just that good just like their prices
