I'm trying to use G3 with my falcon transmitter.

I have the mic cable, and have PPJoy installed as well as SppConsole.

Here's where I'm at:

Under Control Panel > Game Devices I do have a Parallel Port Joystick installed... but I cannot configure it. It's not seeing any input.

Now FMS works fine, but it does not use PPJoy... just SppConsole. So I know everything is working Tx wise and cable wise.

Any Help?

I bought the game at a pawn shop and it had no controller... this is why I'm in this situation.

Also, when I have PPJoy "Configure Joystick" open, I do have a device listed "PPJoy Virtual Joystick 1"

Under mapping I have it set as follows:

6 Axes, 0 buttons, 0 POV Hats

Axis 1: X Axis
Axis 2: Y Axis
Axis 3: Rudder
Axis 4: Throttle
Axis 5: VX Axis
Axis 6: Slider

Is this correct? I'm following instructions for a Futaba I think... mic cabled as well. Mine is the stock "Art-Tech" transmitter that came with my Falcon 3D

The problem is on the next page... I have them all set to "Analog" 0-5 but when I click "Scan" it doesn't see anything.

So I save all info and continue.

Under control panel there is the joystick, but no inputs..

Under G3, no inputs, can't control it.

You have illegal copy of realflight g3. Original one have controller with it, and you can use your tx with connection to the controller.

This is true. If you bought G3/G4 without an InterLink, you have an illegal copy of it and will NOT be able to use it under any circumstances.

Well crap... can i buy a replacement radio?

It's not "illegal" I bought the physical original CD (read above, AT A PAWN SHOP USED)... just didn't have the radio with it. It was only 10 bucks anyways... that sucks.

Oh, and they CAN work with different radios. People use their Futaba's all the time. I simply have a problem that I don't even think is G3 related at all now that I think about it.

Yes, it IS illegal. Any copy of RealFlight without a radio is deemed illegal because the InterLink is a key part of it.

NO, it can't work with different radios ALONE. You need the InterLink, and then you plug your radio (using the adapter cables that come with a legal copy of RealFlight) into the back of the InterLink.

I think to say just because he does not have the interlink it illegal is a rather reckless use of wording ! not to mention degrading to someone you don’t even know !!! for all you know he really did buy it at a pawn shop !! and so long as it is a true copy of the cd's its not a illegal copy . its an incomplete copy but not illegal !! its kind of like saying someone has a illegal copy of windows because they got it used and the original owner lost the certificate
I guess what I'm trying to get at here is don’t label someone a crook just because they didn’t know ! let them know and you have done your good deed .
