Just wondering what the overall advantages of the Vbar system over a conventional flybar set-up. Is it really worth spending the $$$$$?

Where do you start. Lower parts count (which equates to lower cost in a crash), easier mechanical setup, tunable cyclic characterisitics although it does take some time to get your head around it, power used from flybar is transferred to power in the head or longer flight times and MAINLY they look so !
Is it worth it... lets say i'd never convert my v-bar back to flybar but for my other flybarred helis, well that's another story...

The V-Bar system looks much better than the likes of CSM's effort. I've heard the 3 axes' all talk to each other on the V-Bar, giving it an awesome tail lock. Have seen the menu pages for it too and they seem very user friendly.
You're said to end up having, effectively (up to) 20% more engine power too, not having to drive a flybar and paddles through the air.
Is anyone out there able to give a first hand review of how a V-Bar machine flys and feels????
Long shot question: Has anyone managed to get some new arms made up to go flybarless with an N9 using HyperGrips??? I've got all the dimensions - just need it making.
PS : You can get a little cash back at the end when you sell your old surplus to requirements Gyro.
my review of the v-bar, f**kin crazy!
I love it, makes the heli just perform so well. shame i smashed the Logo 14 to bits :(

I'll tell you this...my v-bar'd Logo600 is the best, most locked-in, lightest, most powerful (and I went the cheap route with the motor), most agile machine I've ever flown!!!
The only thing that can come close is the simulator.
Not to mention, after 50 flights nothing has worn or come loose.
Great Great system, highly recommend it!!!
