I fly alot, however, I still cannot manage to understand the ccpm electronic mixing,

you see as I move the pitch up (3 servos) the swash plate does not stay level, it tends to elevate forward,,

can anyone point me how to adjust such problem? ATV ? sub trims?

Please advise!

Thanks
Ali

Point mix is how you solve this. What radio are you running?

You may have to extend the endpoint of the servo that is undertraveling?

Like Baja said, What radio are you using?

I am using 9CHP, so if the two servos at the back are undertravelling, (pitch and aileron) then would I need to extend BOTH end points? it makes sense I want them both to move the same distance..

So does that also mean that If i want to make trims (like if the aileron is rolling towards a specific direction) i'd adjust the end point of the related servo?

You can control each servo's endpoints, swash AFR or use program mix 6 for a poit mix to take out some interraction.

Ok, I get the first few parts, But could you explain what is "point mixing" that i'd use for the program mix 6 please?

Take a look at Program mix 6 on yoru radio and also in your manual. You will see you can add aileron or elevator at different amounts at each point on the mix curve. So for instance if your negative pitch range is OK and the interaction comes in as aileron at high collective stick, just add the corrective aileron at those points on the point mix. A little hard to explain, but if you go to the program mix 6 screen it will be a lot more self evident.

I see your point baja, Master: Pitch, Slave: Elevator , and corrected the higher points so the swash keeps level all the way.. really clever trick, Thanks !

Excellent!! Point mixes are the bomb on CCPM machines. Even some non CCPM ones. I learned about point mixes on my Gas SE from John Garst. ;)
