In relation to getting the headspeed correct - does the centrifugal clutch click in at a certain RMP and is it adjustable in any way (the point that it engages?) If so - how is this achieved?

Is it possible to say, get it to engage at a lower RMP perhaps using curves on the radio? Mine currently seems to click in at quite a high RPM at this stage.

typical clutch used is a 'tab' type where the round clutch is notched to provide a weighted segment that will expand with an increase in RPM.
If you are seeing a higher than acceptable RPM to engage the clutch, You likely will need to replace the lining in the clutch bell.
Do not attempt to modify the clutch itself, the thickness of the liner and the resultant gap between the clutch itself and the clutch bell is the only 'adjustment' to make the clutch engage at a lower RPM.
Replacing the liner is fairly easy, soak the bell in acetone or alcohol to loosen the glue bond, and remove the lining. Dry fit the replacement liner and trim to fit. Mix adhesive, coat and install the liner and place the clutch into the bell. Wait until glue has cured and sand high spots in liner as needed to smooth everything out. Reassemble and fly.

Thanks Wayne - I have ordered some liners so will replace the current setup to be sure.
