Rone21,
I left some parts at Al's. I always carry parts when I fly so if you need something let me know.
Sure will...thanks.
Look what I got today....

And comparing the boxes....

My initial impression of the unit is very good. Just looking at the manual, it is by far superior than that of the Trex's....just don't mind the mispelled 'instructions' on the cover :) All this heli needs is good marketing and it will surely 'take-off'
And now on to the fun part....the build :YeaBaby:

Sweet. You've got enough kits to keep three people busy. Do you have a heli that flys yet?

HI guys , I shortened all the wires on all my electronicts for my Gaui 200. it sure looks
better than it did, Hated to shorten the ones on the 401 ,but they were way to long
Am I the only one who thinks that the wires should be shortened?? A person should not
do this unless they are sure that they are capable of doing so.

I shortened mine using the crimper tool. Shaved weight and just looks better.

No, no SIM. Which one do you have? I figured I can do without it and practice on the CX2 and the Hirobo XRB shuttle instead. And plus, I stay in front of the computer long enough.

Some advice if I may, a sim is probably the single best investment you can make into any RC helicopter unless you can already fly them in all orientations. I started on a CX2 and it did help a lot. A coaxial is nothing like that Trex, E-Beam or Gaui you have. Basicly you'll be starting over. I'm just saying this because a single crash on anyone of those bird's could cost anywhere from $5 to a couple $100 if not more. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking anyone that has the guts to jump from a CX2 to a 450 size heli without a sim, I didn't get a sim until I got my Trex and learning on a CP Pro is no picnic. But you have some really awesome heli's not to mention exspensive. I'm guessing you've dropped at least $3000 in the last few weeks and I'd hate to see cash flying out of your wallet like February snow flakes in Chicago! I have no doubt that you'll be teaching me stuff shortly but until then I HIGHLY recommend a Sim ASAP.
I have G3.5 and Pheonix. Both are great sims. Personaly I prefer Pheonix. I havent tried G4 enough to make a judgement but I've heard that it's basicly a graphics upgrade. Pheonix has great physics, awesome stock models Trex 450/500.600/600n, Raptor, JR Vibe 90,CX2, Knight, Mini Titan to name a few. The graphics are awesome, a buddy at work thought he was watching a video when I showed him the demo. I dont think you'll go wrong with either one.
If money is no object and I know you like building them, then I'm definately going to watch you at the dome! I was there when a guy proudly displayed his brand new Trex and explained to me he had a CX2 and was ready to fly it. That was the single most explosive crash I have ever seen. Looked like someone had pulled the pin on a grenade stuffed inside the frame!
In a nutshell get a sim, Phoenix if you can.
On another note. Al's has helicopter meetings the second Tuesday of each month. I've never been to one but I'll be going this month. I'd really like to get a local club going.

I just saw this post now. Great advice, thanks. And I've been eyeing the Phoenix sim ever since I've read its review on RC Heli mag. I think I'll invest on gettine one.
The dome was dead tonight. Not too many people. I'm guessing most of them were/are at the efest in Champaign.

I just gave in and ordered mine along with a ton of spares!
The only thing readyheli didn't have in stock was a AR6100 receiver... so I got the AR6200. Hopefully it will fit... if not and I need the connectors out the end I have a spare AR7000 somewhere.
Can't wait to get it!
