Hey all!
I received my DS 285 MG servos for the Blade 400 today. Now the problem is that the Blade servo screws are too small and slip through the servo's mounting holes. The screws that came with the servo look way to big however to screw into the Blade 400 frame.
Has anybody made a spacer or found a washer that can fix this somehow?
Thanks!

I just bought some small washers from the airplane department and they work fine. You should buy some extra screws and washers and keep in your box.
Won't the slop in the holes allow the servo case to move around? Or can you tighten the screws on the washers enough (without getting too close to stripping) that they don't move?

what changes were made on your radio for them to work? I can't seem to figure it out.. can you confirm which server goes to which channel?

First crash, trashed 2 servo's. Last night installed the DS-285's. I didn't like the tiny Blade screws, so I slightly enlarged the holes and used the JR screws. Everything fit fine and seems to work ok. Haven't been outside yet.

Normal, digital servos update their position very fast and make a buzz.

you should just go buy the $11 trex tail mount and use it instead. Then shorten the pushrod or just make a new one. I did and it works alot better. If you make one out of thick carbon fiber rod, you can ditch the boom guides and have less friction.
