Hey everyone, I had a question about an item I won on ebay, I will include the link if I could. I am trying to to contact the seller, I have not heard from him yet after the sale and I have to leave town for a while. I have paid for the item with paypal and he has great feedback, I was hoping that anyone that might be familiar with the owner or the helicopter could help me out and let him know I am on a time crunch. I have emailed him and expect he is out of town for the holidays or something similar and do not suspect anything fowl. I have faith that our fellow fliers are upstanding people and I trust the guy is busy. I just need help letting him know I need to arrange for shipping, pay extra if needed and get it shipped. I will be gone for an extended time and it will arrive while I am gone, I don't want to leave this on my wife. Thanks everyone
in case the pictures or link do not work it is a bergen intrepid 90 with a 9z, 601 gyro, curtis youngblood governor, and it was at Zooms hobbies owned by a Micheal Gulinello. He is the person I completed the purchase from ebay and figure he is out of town or something. I hoping he has a friend on here that could help me contact him and let him know my dilema. Thanks again.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...:MEWN:IT&ih=014

58 ..
don't know the guy ..but your shipping cost looks to be already figured in the ebay area and he should have your shipping address in paypal ...All the wife has to do is be there to get the package when it arrives at the door .
Or specify in your paypal to deliver it to your work address or a friends .....
Good luck

58...the link for the auction didn't work...maybe post just the auction number...I want to see if the bird looks familiar at all...we are a pretty close knit group as Bergen Owners so you never know!

Yeah that is what I was hoping it is not a helicopter someone purchases that is only casually in the hobby. I really enjoy flying and looking forward to owning such a neat machine. I do not yet suspect that the guy is messing around just busy and not available. I will add a picture from the ebay listing and hopefully someone will recognize the aircraft and let the guy know I am anxious to hear from him. thanks. Here is a picture of the heli I paid for but have yet to receive

I sent payment on the 3rd, I realize only a couple of days that is why I am not stressed, if it is over a week then I will flip and cancel payment however I have to leave the country tomorrow and am worried it is not a legitimate sale due to lack of response from seller. I still have faith even though I am concerned, I believe it is real since he has good feedback. I just worry since I won't be home to receive heli I want to make sure it is legit before I leave, I am sure you all understand. I appreciate anyones help in closing the loop on this purchase.

If you purchased from the owner of Zooms Hobbies located in Chatsworth, CA then I don't think you have much to worry about...that is a respectable company...and certainly would not tarnish their name by not closing a deal on ebay for a helicopter...

My wife finally heard from the gentleman today and he is putting the aircraft in the mail either this afternoon or tomorrow. I am very excited and look forward to receiving the helicopter in the mail. I guess it will just have to wait till I get home to turn nitro to smoke and have a great time doin it. I appreciate everyone's assurances that I was dealing with a stand up guy, I get concerned easily after hearing about others who have been scammed on the net. Thanks again

This is Scott Leif, owner of Zoom's.. This thread was pointed out to us by a board member... While it sounds like you got this resolved, I wanted to chime in and let you know that there is not and never has been a Mike Gulinello working for us.. That helicopter on the other hand looks like one which at one point was owned by our previous manager Mike Smith who was Bergen Rep. I know he sold that particular machine nearly a year ago.. By the way, our ebay ID is zoomshobbies.
I do hope you get your heli. Mike Smith took very good care of it when he owned it!
Best Regards,
Scott Leif,
