I had to repalce a rotator head and then flew the cx-2 and crashed into a tree. Only damage I could see was to the front body. Replaced front body and now heli won't lift. Any suggestion? After came in to show brother the blades would not even rotate. Could it be a battery problem? I am new to this and only had my heli for 2 weeks but have learned lot about repairs already. The first wreck caused lot more damge that last and after did repairs it was able to lift just too much wind which caused it to crash ino tree. Would appreciate any help. Would even give someone my number or could call them if they think can help sovle the problem.
Remove the innter and outter shafts and cheak the two gears at the bottom of the heli. Or it might be a simple as the shaft became loose on bearing at the bottom or the gears are no longer in aliegnment with each other. In any case it is most likely something quite simple to correct by taking the shafts and gears apart and putting it back togeather . The main reason I love this Heli is it is so simple to learn to fly and repair and really nothing costs that much to fix. Good luck.

Can you hear the motors turning, or is there absolutely no response to throttle? If there is no response at all then you probably blew out the Speed controls. FYI its a indoor flyer only, the only time you can fly outside is when there is NO wind. If the motors turn, but the blades do not, then check the gears and make sure all the teeth are still intact, also check the setscrews and make sure they are tight, check the pinion gears on the motors, do they line up on the drive gears? Many things to check.

I ran into this problem as well after a few crashes. Blades would turn but all I could do was slide around a couple inches off the ground out of control. I had a bent inner shaft and broken upper and lower blades. After replacing both parts it still did the same thing. I'm sitting there thinking damn what do I need to replace now? Then it hit me, look at the swash plate dummy. Leveled it and fine tuned the gain and I'm now more stable than before. In hind sight I could have gotten away without replacing the inner shaft and dealt with the small amount of vibration generated.
Just had the same problem with my CX 2 after a little mishap. After checking over found the main gear (smaller upper one underneath) to have little or no teeth left. Got to get another #34 LEFH 1213 from LHS. Hope they have the part.
