cx2 and dx7

I have me cx2 set up with my dx7 in aero mode like it says on the horizon website but I would like to be able to use the throttle hold. does anyone know how to set it up in heli mode?

Yes, set it to heli mode and in the swash setting put it at single servo, then go program the model data.

also, don't forget to trim the throttle all the way down, and reverse ele, aileron, and rudder servos on the dx-7. mine works great for both of my cx-2's:thumbup:

You'll also need to mix the channels.

I setup my CX2 on the DX6i that came with the B400. Basically, I set it up as heli with a 90* head. Ail, Ele and Rud are reversed. I set the ATV at 120* for all 4 channels, which also eliminated the need to mess with the throttle trim, Plus, I moved the push rods out 1 hole on the servo arm to get a little more control authority.

I assume the mixing you talk about is between the ail and ele servos so the swash plate moves correctly at max throws.
