I just bought a Stinger 50, so also got a hyper 50 to put in it, then I realized that on the Gohbee site there is no description of what is included in the kit. I ordered the fiberglass canopy and CF blades kit.
My question is does the kit include a muffler ?
If it doesn't, will the MPII fit on this baby?

Cheers,
Warren

Yes, the kit will have a stock muffler. Later you might want to add a MPII, but in the beginning, the stock muffler will do fine. Mine has plenty of power with just the stock muffler and it's an OS50sxh.

Your kit will come with everything you need, except the engine and electronics.

You will also want to get a header tank and remote glow adapter .
I have helped setup 3 Stinger 50s and they all fly great !
I have the OS Hyper 50 and stock muffler. I had to run my throtil curve down to 75% to keep from over speading. I just got a TJ gov. for it.
If you have questions just ask us here on Heli Freak or on Rotor Rave we have a good group of Field Reps to help.

I have the Stinger 50 w/ OS 50 Hyper and stock muffler.
For head speeds I run 1800 in normal, 1875 in idle 1 and 1950 in idle 2.
I may still bump these numbers up a little.

I run 1950 for 3D &2100 for racing.
If you are hovering slower head speed will slow the response down for you. I setup one at 1600 for a friend that is only hovering and he liked the smooth control and better gas mileage. When you want quicker control you can go up from there. But if you run a slwo head speed and have a flame out you dont have much time for a auto. If you run 1750 control will be quicker acting and more time for auto but less mileage .
I start people slow and when there are ready for FF I bump it up.
If you ask 10 people you will get 10 different answers on this question.
Is up to whate will work for you. You can run a faster head speed and slow response with dule rates and Expo.

Hey Jay,

Great response and info. I have heard that 1900+ is a good starting point for 3D. I have never thought about bumping up headspeed to help in the case of an auto. Great point !

After all that Yes I love my TJ and TJ pro!
I amd running JR 9303 and 8103, It took me a long time to find the setup on RR.
But I like it better than my GV1.( Small, light ,fits infront of pitch arm)
I can dial in speed in flight for how I fly.
Dont you fly Futaba? I think it will be a easey setup for Futaba.
I will be selling my GV1 on e-bay soon.

Hey Jay,

Could you PM me the setup for the TJpro? I am flying a 8103. (I'm a JR man also!)

Or as far as that goes, do a new forum thread on it !

Hey Rob, I have a Hitec Eclipse 7 but may get a Futaba(will pass the hitec down to my son) I actually just ordered the heli and all bits yesterday and today. As i am currently working out of country I will not even see it till I get back on the 20 of May(and even then I will be busy building my house)
Hopefully though I can get a few flights in. As my sig suggests I don't do much more than hover right now(anytime I try more than that I end up tilling soil), all self taught, although these forums help alot I just need to go out and burn some fuel. I'll keep you posted though.

Cheers,
Warren
