guys, flew my MIG-29 plane yesterday maiden flight, somehow forgot to keep track of my flight time, flew it till the motor loose it power totally and had to land. upon checking with voltmeter, it measure from 3.23-3.35 for a 1800mah lipo 11.1v 15C. i know that the safety limit is 3.5v/cell. May i ask if my negligence this time will totally damage the pack? i tried charging it last nite, and it charge up to 1820mah, again i know i over discharge more than 80%. hmm. is it ok for sometimes to overdischarge?

oh yah, as i have dropped another 20C lipo last week in the field off my plane, i was wondering if its still usable if i were to find it today, after a few rainy days? i think it would be damage due to the rain. if its still usable, i will try to find it again

Did you hurt your pack? Yes.

Did you hurt it so badly it is worthless? No.

You just shortened the life by some amount. Just don't do it any more.

Rain will only hurt the pack if the connector gets shorted. If you find it and it looks OK< I would charge it in a very safe place (I do it outside on concrete) and keep a close eye on it for a few cycles.

Discharge not lower than 3.2V should be OK once a while though not encourage. Your pack should be OK without any significant damage. Just make sure no to do it again.
