Hi All

I am fitting the TT alloy tail parts to my mini titan and have come across a puzzling issue. When fitting the bolts that go into the blade grips (they go through the link sliders and have a washer either end of this part) I notice that if I do them up tight the everything locks up. The only way to have it running free is if the screw is literally finger tight, and after a few wiggles of the servo link they start to undo!!!
I thought the washers were designed to press against the inside rim of bearing therefore avoiding binding but this doesn't appear to have happended.
Really frustrating as I thought fitting alloy upgrades would be hassle free

You used some threadlock on the screws?

For screws in alloy a must!

I'm a little confused on which bolt you are talking about. Are you referring to the bolt that holds the blade grip to the hub?

I had the same issue on mine also. Just snug them up until they start to bind and then back off. Obviously, use lock tite. I have the tail pitch slider and arms from Sonix on another MT and it does'nt have this issue since the bearings have a wider center where the screw goes through.www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-929/Mini-Titan-E325-Precision/Detail. Odd that the TT one is this way and the aftemarket one isnt since the TT parts cost twice as much! Hope this helps.
