So i finally thought id fixed the problem with my heli spinning in circles by glueing the pully wheel to the rear rotor shaft.
now i can stop the heli spinning until it lifts off that is
Heres what ive noticed : when everything is switched on apart from the motor when i push the left stick left and right the rear rotor blades move accordingly but as soon as i push forward on the stcik the blades move completely to one side if i reverse the gyro then they move completly to the other side. Am i correct in think that the gyro thinks im accelerating the blades and compensates for the torque of the main blades by sending a signal to the rears to move further? ive tried moving the gain up and down and doesnt make any difference.
also when i push forward the sevo for the blade pith clicks and gets faster as a move further forward on the stick and sometimes keeps clicking (almost sounds like a motor spinning) even when ive stopped the blades i guess its getting stuck somehow. should this servo make the same noise as all the other servo on the heli?

Which stick are you using to control the rudder? Which TX/RX are you using?

Thinking about what would cause such a behavior, it sounds like you're using the cyclic (right) stick instead of the throttle/rudder (left) stick (assuming a Mode 2 TX) and you have the gyro's rudder input connected to either the aileron or pitch channel. On a heli with a 3 servo swash, pushing the cyclic stick left and right causes the aileron and pitch servos to move in opposite directions and pushing the stick forward and backward cause the aileron and pitch servos to both move the same direction. If the gyro is hooked up to the aileron or pitch servo, any movement of the cyclic stick would cause the tail rotor pitch to change.

the clicking sounds to me like a dead servo, and the other problem sounds like you have some sort of mixing where there should not be. then again i'm not the best suited to give advise.

I would suggest you watch Bob's gyro set up video. It sounds as though the gyro is operating in Normal mode and you have some revo mixing. When revo mixing is on, it automatically tries to adjust tail rotor pitch as a function of throttle/pitch (left stick). Whe the gyro is operating in heading hold mode, the tail rotor pitach moves only in response to rudder input and/or tail motion.

The clicking sounds like shot servo gears.

Sounds to me like you have some REVO mixing enabled. I don't know what that stands for but it messes with the rudder when you move the throttle. Your Tx should allow you to adjust the percent of it or disable it altogether. If the gyro is HH then you would want REVO mixing disabled, otherwise the thing thinks you're asking it to turn when you throttle up. Sitting on the ground it can't turn so it just runs the tail pitch to the limit. Anyway I'd try turning off the REVO mixing and see how that works out.
