I have one. Hobby-Lobby has great customer service, and they promptly send the replacement motors that fall apart or fail prematurely. Overall, I don't think this is a horrible helicopter, but it does have a few quirks to it. The motor likes to fall apart. I had it happen to mine, and I fixed it. I also have a replacement motor that HL sent free of charge, so that is handy. The tail is gear driven, and can be sensitive to gear stripping in grass, though that has never happened to me. The helicopter almost always needs attention given to the tail servo location when first taken out of the box, otherwise the helicopter will spin. The head has some slop in it which adds some fun to hovering, but it is not unbearable. The transmitter is the worse part of it, it can glitch and has little adjustibility, wich causes you to go and buy a better computer transmitter. I bought a use Futaba off of ebay for under $100 so it wasn't a big deal, but overal that fact eliminates the falcon as a value. The E-flight Blade 400 is the better option because it comes with a DX6i transmitter that is 2.4gz and you can grow more models into. Whenever the subject of the Falcon comes up, i invariable try to steer people away. I like mine because I learned a lot on it, and I like to tinker my way through the faults, but if the Blade 400 existed in May 07, I would have bought that.
There is a thread on RC Groups on the Falcon 3D, it has a billion posts but it documents all the problems and fixes. Most people who have one end up getting a T-rex or something else...

I know the servo channels were reversed because I changed them. I was saying that in your add you state that this heli was tested and flown before it left your factory. That cannot be possible simply because the switches in the transmitter were not in the right position for flight and I do not think you would spend the time to reverse all of the switches again before you sent it out. What I was saying about the battery is it will not charge and it came to me WELL below the recommended voltage for a 3s lipo. When that occurs, the battery will not perform properly and also will not last as long. I put it on the charger for TWO HOURS and it still won't go above 8.3 volts! The battery is defective. This cannot be adjusted.
As I stated before, When you switch the heli into normal mode, THE THROTTLE DOES NOT RESPOND!!! I can't fly the heli if I have no throttle! If I swith to the 3D mode, The motor will spin violently but I HAVE NO PITCH CONTROL! There is definately something wrong here with the transmitter or receiver because when you swith to the 3d mode also the servos twitch on their own until they decide to stop! This also cannot be adjusted.
The bottom line is I cannot adjust something that is not working properly to begin with. I took the liberty of taking this heli to my local hobby shop and asking the heli expert there to take a look at it. After more than an hour of him tinkering with it, he handed it back to me andd told me to return it!
So now what do I do? I have asked you twice to fix this but I only get the "it must be adjusted" or the "it must be your fault" response.
I am growing very tired of this whole deal and I am asking you for the last time to refund my money so that I may be done with this.......Robert

Regarding the servos were reversed, you have to adjust the GYRO and TX.
We have sent you the missing screws and the US charger.
The batter is the Art-Tech original li-po battery, we always fly Falcon use this helicopter, so we don't think the battery won't work.
You have to turn to normal mode of TX when you fly helicopter first, otherwise this helicopter won't fly whaterver you full throttle.
We regret for happening this and make you any inconvenience. You know, helicopter is not a toy, sometimes will happen some unexpected things. I think the helicopter can fly after you adjust. If you arn't not able to adjust it, please ask someone who can do it.
Finally, sorry for reply late.

I know it doesn't help much RDblade, but this is a good example of why it is a bad idea to buy something like this directly from China. Had you bought it from Hobby-Lobby, your life would have been vastly easier, but I don't think HL has the Falcon 3D SE yet. I am guessing you bought it off of the 'Bay. Hopefully you'll just get your cash back. If you do, invest the money in something else.
