I recently rebuilt the head on my Logo 10, and changed my old MS Composit 515mm (http://www.mscompositusa.com/cfc-main-blades-515-mm123.html) out with a new pair of Mikado MK2712 500mm CF blades (http://www.aero-model.com/Mikado/part.aspx?id=MIK2712). After re-setting the pitch range (+12 to -12) with the Mikado blades, I decided to put my old pair of MS Composit 515mm blades in. I was surprised to see that with the MS blades, the pitch range is now +14 to -10 instead of an equal +/-12 previously.
Does anyone know if this is a fluke or are all MS Composit blades skewed to have more positive pitch?

Likely just the fact that your roots were not tabled 100% flat in factory is all. I have had one set on and at zero have perfectly zero, than throw on blade set B and have one that might be + or -2 degrees. This is why when changing blades out you always do you pitches on the bench prior to flight etc,,,
SO many inconsitencies with blades it seems.
Oviously with the MS set at mid stick you are postive by a few degrees,,,, Maniac blades have this as well. It is not a good or bad thing, just their machining process.
If you have not ever thought of stretching your Logo 10 you should, just run the logo belt and boom and tr rod than you are good up to 580s and can run power wise some 550mm main blades that will "really" liven up the heli.

Shawn, thanks for the input. Looks like I'll have to reset the pitch range for the MS Composit blade if I want to fly it, or just live with the slightly more positive range.. ;)
