Hey guyes just upgraded my stock hawk pro muffler with the silent power, Question is are their any engine adjustments needed? Os 37 runs much quieter but the muffler gets really hot, but the engine only seems a little warmer. It seems to be running a little leaner than before.

Yes, you will have to re-adjust the needles when you do a muffler change, as the larger volume of the CN3037 means there is less back pressure.

First adjust the main needle in a climb, then, if your fuel is foaming at all in the hover, this will mean it is too lean at midrange. So you will have to open the idle adjustment screw a bit. This is more sensitive then the main needle, so do this in small increments, until the foaming stops. Then go upstairs and do the main needle again.

Thanks did just that. Ran some test today. The stock muffler required 1 turn on the high speed needle, Moved it to 2 turns and from a hover nailed the throttle, It would bog and slow climb, At 1 and a half from a hover nailed the throttle and it launched up with no noticable change in rpm or head speed just about perfect, Adjusted the idle quarter turn just to keep it a little rich but noticed no differance.:smokin: Thanks clint.
