I broke down and got a Hirobo XRB. All I got to say is WOW!!!! Better than a simulator to practice nose in hovers, figure 8's, split S's just a good machine plus it works with my regular transmitter.

Hey John,

I have been thinking about one of those, but just didn't know if it would be a good learning tool or not. Sounds good. What transmitter are you using?

It'll work with any transmitter. It has a little dial that you can set for your transmitter brand. I use my 9303 with mine and didn't even have to reverse anything. Tip: If you turn up your ATV's as high as they'll go, you can get a bit more control.

I use my futaba 9c. When I bought it I noticed that the channel was marked 40 (that is mine) went home read the directions a went to flying. The only time I have crashed is when the battery went down, it kind of auto's on its own but you have no control.

Man I am loving this thing. I have been practicing nose in orbits all day. I will never use my sim again( well maybe not never). Compared to my shogun which is for sale this wins hands down.

During the winter when the weather is crappy, or at night after work, the XRB is the only flying that I get. It's no 3D, but it's certainly better than none at all! :D

Hey guys,

Where's the best place to get Hirobo XRB parts..... let's say the XRB found a nightstand in my bedroom !

Having fun with it, first heli I have flown inside..... worrying about desks, chairs and of course nightstands..... something I haven't thought much about until now. Not to mention worrying about the ceiling.... added collective can get you in trouble inside the house ! hehehehee

Hey everyone,
FYI, the XRB won't work with the Hitec Eclipse 7 tx. I tried to program mine with my XRB and I couldn't get it to work. I called MRC and Jeff said that my tx wasn't capatible with my copter. Hank
BTW, XRB rocks! I use it for nose in, etc. practice.
