Hi All

Can someone please confirm the correct number of poles for the Stock 850 and 1100 KV motors?

My research has told me that the 850 is 10 poles and the 1100 is 8 poles

Is this correct?

I need to know for my Eagle Tree Brushless RPM sensor

Many Thanks

Ben

I can confirm the 850....it has 20 magnets which equals 10 poles, I don't have an 1100 but the flying Hobby website lists the 1100 as having 8 and the 850 as having 10.

I have this spec sheet from the manufacturer but to be honest i didn't believe it!!

it states 2 poles but i didn't think that was enough!

I suppose i will just try it with the sensor the only thing that will happen is that it will give me the wrong reading!

Thanks for your help

Ben

I would have guessed two poles ...but after googling I didn't realize many inrunner had more than 2.

I'll bet you the Eagle tree will read just fine on 2.
