Has anyone tried to use the CX2 4in1 2.4 receiver in a cp pro? If so, how do you have it set?

Thanks

The new CX2 receiver is an AR6100e, it will work just fine in a blade CP, but the CX2 radio will not be able to control the CP.

I have it connected with my Dx7 but i can't seem to get the rudder to slow down enough to counter mainblades. At hover headspeed, it tends to spin nose to the right..

Make sure you don't have any trim or subtrim on the rudder channel, if its spinning clockwise, then the tail is compensating too much. Sounds like a Gyro problem to me, not a receiver issue.

Or maybe he is using the cx2's 3-in1 too, that is what I was told not to do, because the 3-in-1 is trying to spin the blades equally for the cx2 (with no rudder (co-axial))

It's the eflite 4-in-1 part# eflh1024. I have it working great with my DX7. I had to reverse the rudder channel and turn down the trim.. It actually fly's pretty decent after I added weights to the tail and the flybar.. the weights are actually bearings.. i'll snap a pic in a sec..

Cool, so its not from the cx2 just the rcvr is. I got the B400 and am gonna do the same thing to my cp pro soon.

Sorry for the bad pics..

I finally figured out the proportion and gain business and i can finally do a decent hover..

I also did a ghetto tail mod that helped keep it stable with just a little left rudder trim.. My trex 450 is easier to hover but I like tinkering with this little guy..

The receiver is for the CX2 but I decided to try it out on the CP pro because I had the Dx7. I'm glad I did because I can trim so many different ways to make it work..

Why did you add weights to the tail? Seems like its putting quite a strain on the motor to spin all that extra weight.

Honesty, I just did it because I was bored and wanted to tinker after reading something about tail fin weights .. It actually helps with keeping the tail still... I will try and post a vid on how still the tail is when I run up the hs..
