Buying a new razor after 15 year hiatus. Need battery, motor, gear ratio for long flight time. It will be like starting all over again, but my son can now join in the fun/pain. Last heli was a TSK MyStar 30.

I think most of us would say the Kontronic Tango 45-08 motor with 14.25/1 gearing would give the longest flight times. That is what I run. I can go up to 10 minutes of easy figure 8s with a set of 4350 MAH batteries.

I love the Razor and have no problem recommending it, however, it is a heavy heli. If long flight time with electric power is your aim, you might consider a lighter weight model.
