Hi,
am trying to discharge my Tx pack (2500mah 8cell Nimh) with the BC6 station. I use a discharge rate of 0.3A and end voltage of 7.8V. Battery is at 11.2V but the station immediately ends the discharge with 0mah discharge!

Would anyone be able to help?

Very little to set.

Select NIMH Discharge. Set Amperage to 1 AMP, 300 mah is too low. Set End voltage to 6.4V, .8V per cell and start the discharge process.

Ok tried that but same happened. Does it mean the e-station is faulty (just received it and it is first usage)

What does the screen say when the charge ends? Can you take a picture?

it has all the counters at zero except the one showing voltage (at 11.28V)
so goes
END 0.0A 11.28V

Are you sure you set the cut off voltage to 6.4V? If it was set higher than 11.28 for example, it would show exactly what is on your display.

absolutely sure. Now just tried on the rx pack and discharge seems to be working there. Is it possible that the Tx pack is damaged in a way that the e-station will not be able to discharge it?

The only thing I can think of is that when the load hits the pack, the voltage drops below the 6.4V due to bad cells. Resting voltage, the bad cells come back. Try setting the voltage to say 4.0V. See what happens.

Ok, tried that but did not work. Took the battery out of the Tx and tried again....WORKING! did 2 cycles on it, tried again from inside the Tx through the charging plug of the Tx...not working!

Not sure what this is about but obviously a pb with the Tx connection (Futaba FF8). Could i have damaged it through fast discharge? not sure

Protection diode in the tx.
