When I setup the throttle hold it works fine in Normal mode but does not do anything in the Idle ups 1 and 2 ??
Any advice to what is being done ?
Posting for someone else, actual post is in another forum !!

Turn off "throttle hold idle" INH and turn on "throttle hold cut". Assign the throttle hold to switch "SW-G" Set the throttle pos. by pushing the % when the throttle stick is at idle. Also make sure the Group button is on in each of the conditions. You want them all grouped.
I believe that is what is wrong, but it is hard to tell without more info. Have your buddy come on over to this board and post the ?. If he has a pic of the throttle hold screen that would help also. I think that is the problem though.
So in the throttle hold menu in the model section. Throttle hold (cut)
Act/Inh (Off) GR
Mode Manual
Hold Pos. (approx 7-10%)
speed 0
switch SW-G
Throttle Hold (idle) INH
That should work fine.

Idle-up in Hold function. i have re-assigned and swapped the hold and idle-up switches as per my old 9c. so 3 position on left and 2 position on right now.

This transmitter is like a console game for me. You can spend hours trying to find the next step. Then some one tells you and it’s been in front of you all the time. I spent hours on and off last night, determined to sort it. Did what you said Eric, 10 seconds work and it seems to do the trick, on my table anyway. Again Many thanks

cool, that should do it for you.
The manual is not very good as are most manuals that are in another language and converted to English. From what I see the Throttle hold "cut" feature is really the true throttle hold function. The "idle" feature seems to offset the hold function to allow for some "cheater" in the auto. You can assign a switch to that and that will allow you use that feature separately. The "cut" switch overrides the "idle" function and allows the motor to go to idle.
The "idle" function appears to be based on each throttle curve. The "cut" position seems independent of the throttle curves.
I am glad you have the answer. Will set up this forum for this reason, to get real answers to questions. We are all learning the new radio together and it will be some time before all of the "tricks" are discovered, but helping each other here will sure make it easier :D

set in the conditions menu the hold condition on the 4th place.
So you got
1 normal
2 idl 1
3 idl 2
4 hold

From my playing with it, the Throttle Hold (Idle) function is really a plank function.
It allows you to set a lower than normal idle to allow you to slow down for landing.
I have found no real use for it in a heli.

I agree Jeff. It looks like a throttle offset. It could be use for a Cheater function on auto's, but it looks to be based off of the throttle curves so it would only work in normal mode. It does not look too useful to me either.

Hi,
the thread is some month old, but i wondered, I use that functions as followed: The TC idle is good for AR training with idling motor, the TC cut is for competition where the Motor has to be cut for getting more points in the result.
