I need help and alot of it. I built my spectra, and four tanks later it was broke. Than a tank after that it was broke. Im looking for someone to build a new kit. I will provide everything. The kit , electronics , motor muffler . I would like to have someone who has a spectra and experience with the gassers. I am willing to pay a sum for this, that we can talk about. But the heli must be flown several times by the builder to insure that it is ok. If interested let me know. Please help me. :D

Hmmm..
Well I have not built a Spectra, but I have built an Extreme and an Ion.
Along with a Bergen Gasser.
I am not too far from you if you want to call me we could work something out.
PM me a number.

You know the instruction manual is a pain in the ass to read thru so I put mine together mostly by the pics and skim reading sections as I came to them. Mine has been very dependable. I added a Stator gator and GV-1 after the first gallon of fuel and it's been a great heli.
Now .. if I could get my gearbox back from upgrades I'd burn some more GAS. :)

Instead of getting frustrated, let someone within traveling distance give you a hand. It won't be too bad to get your heli flying right with some experienced help. ;)

Nolan,
I have always felt you were a wise man. :D :D

Just got off the phone with him and I think we will be able to work something out.
First Spectra, but I imagine it will build like any other MA heli. :D
Read the book....Look at the pictures....dry fit....read the book....cuss a bit....read the book....look at the pictures.....loctite the part....read the book....:D :D :D

Seriously I love to build MA helis. They are very fine builds Only one that builds as nice is a Bergen IMO...Course we won't go into why our Gasser has eaten a 2nd set of tail gears...Thank god for Larry Bergen. :D

Your gonna love getting your hands on the Spectra G while helping "thenewguy". It's easier to work on than the Extremes. ;)

HEHEHE OH yeah .. you got plenty of MA building experience.

BTW .. thanks for the compliment but the only wise part of me I usually sit on.

You have that problem also...:D

Found my problem today with my gasser so I am a happy camper. Now I know what is wrong and don't have to "hope" if fixed it.
I hate un-planned autos. :D
