Low Flyer

I have posted this question on another forum with no luck so let's see if there's more wisdon/expertise here!
My gear is Blade CX2 with stock parts and alu upgrades from swash through to upper rotor head and Xtreme 180 motors,otherwise stock parts including blades (balanced) and new batteries both E-Flite and Flight Power.
The problem which I'm experiencing is with a freshly charged battery I get around only 3-4 minutes of normal hovering then she descends on full throttle and stis a few inches off the deck. I land, rest her for a couple of minutes and then she "punches" back into the air to around 8-10 feet where she will hover quite steadily for around a minute then descends slowly on FULL THROTTLE to just around a couple of inches off the floor. I can repeat this a couple of times before I give up through frustration.
I have been through a range of changes from stock parts, Xtreme Core upgrade and back to stock parts with the alu upgrades which I mentioned but makes no difference.
Previously I was enjoying flight times of around 10--12 minutes but now flying time is down to 3-4 minutes.
The only item which has not been replaced is the 4 in 1 but since it operates normally for A TIME I don't know that this unit is suspect.
Any thoughts guys?
