Hi!
Anyone having experience with using nylonbolts to fasten landingskid? This to prevent frame from being ripped to parts in a crash.

I just saw a post last week or so about someone who did just that and crashed. He was very happy the bolts had cud and the frame was undamaged... it made me thinker a bit :)

"the radio went into failsafe for some reason and it bounced pretty good. the good news is for how it went in, full tilt boogey nose first, there's not that much torn up thanks to a new product I was trying. Mike Fortune of Fortune Model Products (shameless plug) has come up with a nylon bolt set to use for attaching your landing gear and other parts that need a 'weak link' in their attachment. i used the bolts to attach my landing gear and to attach my canopy support posts. see the before and after pics below. it allowed the canopy and gear to break easily from the model and not tear up other parts in the process."
I'm still using these bolts and loving them.
