Odd problem using FMS

I've installed FMS as it came with my heli (Esky Lama V3) and plugged in my controller, when I'm calibrating the channels using the controller as a Joystick interface I get no rudder, that channel stays completely dead, now as you can imagine that's making the sim a bit of a waste of time as I can't practice with no rudder! :shock:
The controller is working perfectly when I fly my Lama for real, all 4 channels working as they should :thumbup:
Any tips? Should I be looking for a different sim? Is there a problem with my USB cable?

it is a 450 size sim but it can help you in figuring out if its your controller,computer,or the software. If you get rudder working there then it is just a fms issue

Well I tried that and it's the same, no rudder.
Now the actual controller works the rudder when I fly so I'm wondering if it's the lead that came with my controller :confused:
