hello, i bought a used tt.50 motor and it was just like seller had stated but with motors i always take head and bottom plate off,the seller told me he had never took the head off but the head screws were loose but they could have vibrated loose ,but any how i think theres suppose to be a gasket under head on this motor but there was nothing there and i was wondering if i had to use the gasket or if theres something i can make or substitute ,can someone tell me their oppinion ,thanks

Not sure about the TT engine. There is a good number of engines that do use a head gasket/shim. It is actually called a shim, because it is used to adjust the compression ratio.
There is a gasket set in the parts list for the TT50. PN0192
So it could be that the shim is included in it.
I would just tighten the head bolts and run the engine. The compression will be a little higher, but that should not be a problem.
Make sure the shim is not stuck in the cylinder head or stuck to the top of the cylinder. Seen that many times and you will think there is no shim, when there actually is one.

hey, thanks alot ,i will try it ,today if i can find a fan and clutch,i had the .36 and am converting everything over to .50,ive had so much trouble with the clutch and liner that ive thought about trying to use the audacity fan and clutch set-up,ive measured everything and there seems to be enough room, its really hard to find parts here unless you order and i would rather be able to just go in and pick them up,but thanks for info

What helicopter?
Also that shim often sticks to the head and is very hard to tell its even there unless you get under it with a razor.
I've seen plenty of factory motors with loose head bolts.
