I got mine from DeeTee Enterprises, they are a sponsor here and Dennis is always a pleasure to deal with.
Another great place is Ray's Hobby Resource. Ray is another that can get you what you need.

You'll get mixed opinions, but FWIW, I've been using the stock plastic fan since day day with no problems. I even have one of the early kits with the manual on CD. I have the 3Dx metal fan but have never switched it out since I've had no problems with this one.

I agree with Philly, get a Multigov or a revlock.

Make up your list and contact ReadyHeli, they will do a package deal for you.
RC Hover has some packages also.

would you say that a ATG is better then the GV - 1 or is it on a equal par

V-blades rock, NHP razor pro's are pretty good to..
Get the multi-gov!!! it is AWESOME!
i'd also suggest the metal fan and metal blade grips... the $20 for the metal fan and not having to worry about possible warpage taking out the governor sensor is worth the peace of mind IMO. And if you plan to run over 2000 rpm headspeed, the metal blade grips are a must! and if you expect to crash, i'd suggest getting them to. lol

Hi
This is my setup:
Align Trex 600 N pro
Os 50 Hyper + MP5
Active Throttle Gouvernor C.Y
GY401+S9254
3x SSV-9864MG (scanner RC)
1x BMS620 for gaz
4,8volts 4400mah (maxamps)
This setup is pretty cool, fast servo and good engine.
Whis my nimh pack I can fly 6 to 7 runs whitout recharge it.
The ATG have fast reponse than the GV1 and it's easier to tune than the GV1
(set the stick to max pos, then to min pos.Set the gear ratio.Set with an aux chanel on the radio the rpm you need for each mode...fly...that's all)
