I have a G500T on my Fury and so far it's not as good as my G500T in my Hawk. The tail lets go every few seconds, twitching a few inches in either direction. It does this in a hover or FFF.

My specifics:
I'm using a Futaba 9254 on the tail. Have you used this gyro with this servo?
Engine is still being broken in, but changing the mix has not helped.
I have some tail slider problems I spoke about in another thread. I'm addressing that.
I'm using 3M mounting squares (http://acmehardware.com/product_detail.aspx?sku=3919891). I tried both one and a stack of two with the same results.
Any insight?

I have one on my .61 xtreme with good results. But I'm using the 8700G servo.

not sure what is going on or about the servo your using. If the engine is not up to speed most gyro's have this problem. Once breakin is complete this may improve. Are you using a .91 or .70 Etc. This gyro works well on the smaller machines will work on a large bore machine just not as well as the 601.

well the twitching is the engine not running smooth the drift is fixed by trims Ext. or sub. But if you can't keep the engine running smooth it will do this until you can.

My .61 and MP I runs very smooth and I can do vertical tail slides with no input. And no GV.

I have a 91 c-spec pumped. How long does it take to break it in? I'm using CP15.

This is just twitching... there is no drift that isn't twitch induced. Yes, it sounds like it's my engine. I do have a governor, could that be part of it?

I usually run about a case before I start any hard flyin...Some people run 1 or 2 TANKS and they say its ready...But I dont like sending engines back to hobby services...If you want it to last i'd do a good break in, at least a case..Just my opinion....JOEL

Mark what is your head speed?

I have the gov set to 1750, but it seems to have dropped below that now. I'm not sure the gov is staying engaged.

I'm less than 1 gal into it. What kind of flying should I do, just hovering?

Some Foreward Flight and autos are good as well, lets the engine cool some between cycles. you can do soft aerobatics don't load it much.

It sounds like it's just the richness of the engine thats causing the problem.
