Hi to all, just wondering, I have a problem with a 2200 18c hyperion Lipo, last time I used it (like 5 months ago) I discharged to 80% aprox per my calculations, to be honest I didnŽt check the voltage on it when I finished flying, it has 2 cycles, brand new, yesterday I checked the voltage and it had .15V is that possible? is there a way to revive this pack?

The pack is swelled nor puffed,

Thank you!

No, one, Please I would really appreciate some help here.....
IŽm sure someone had before this kind of problem?

First of all, you shouldn't discharge a lipo battery to down to 80% of its capacity, in fact the voltage should never be dropped lower than 3 volt each, so, for 2 cells, 6 volts is already critical. Now if the voltage of the current lipo is only .15 volt, then it can be concluded that the lipo is totaly gone. You can't recover the battery

First off, draining 80% is normal. That's the target you should be aiming at.

How did you measure the voltage when you got the 0.15V? Can you check the individual cells using a voltmeter (being careful not to short anything)? If it's truly at that level, you can try and charge it, but I'd bet it's deaddead.

You shouldn't, however, store after draining 80%. Draining to 50% is the accepted storage level.

Thank you very much John, I did check it with a Voltmeter, and the cells are dead!, the whole pack reads. 0.15 Volts, was my error to keep it uncharged but I never thought it could die!

How can I charge it if the charger wont recognize it?
So there is no way to revive it or is it?

I've heard of some people using a non-LiPo charger to charge it enough so that a LiPo charger will recognize it again. I'd be VERY careful doing that, however.

tickle charge or charge at 0.1A with lipo charger can work as well

Ok IŽll try it tonight to see what happens, thank you!

But do that in a SAFE place and keep an eye on it.

At this point I would just accept the loss. I have read too many battery horror stories. I also have experinced it first hand when a Ni-Mh cell cap popped and hit me just above my eye and sprayed acid in my face. That turned me into a big battery safety freak. Even if you were to revive the pack, I would still not trust it. Irreversible damage might have already occured.
