Hey all,

I also had limited time for flight until recently (also only recently had $$$) and decided that my CP Pro in my closet needed to be flown again HOWEVER I was never good at it and decided that I needed to go to a CX2 to get used to things again.

Awesome machine and I love it to death thus far. Well the other day I snapped the lower rotor head just enough that it no longer held the blades in position. I decided that it was worthwhile to get the aluminum part and ordered it.

I recieved it yesterday and went to put it on HOWEVER it will not slide down all the way that it needs to. Am I missing something here? There is a hole in the outer shaft that I am 95% sure should be lined up to the hole in the upper portion of the lower rotor head. I can not get the lower portion of the head to slide down far enough though.

Any thoughts? Or does someone have any detailed pictures of the install process so that I can see for sure that I am doing everythign right?

Thanks in advance.

you're doing it all right. the shaft gets out of shape from the set screws. I use a needle file or very light pressure from a dremel tool.

ah yes I did see where the original set screws had been. So some light filing is in order then correct?

Thanks for the tip man.
