I’m at the end of my rope with trying to fly FM radios at my house. I was getting ready to spool up my Blade CP and it got attacked by RF interference. It went into a full power dance and tore the frame apart. We have a large radio tower about a mile away which I think is the culprit. I’m not going to bother rebuilding it because I can’t fly it at home without glitching.
It was trimmed out beautifully too, I flew it at a friend’s house the other night after installing a new tail motor.
Since I’m building a new 450 size heli which will have to have a 2.4GHz system in it, I’m going to sell my entire stock of Blade CP parts.
The only part needed to have airworthy helicopter is the main frame, of which I didn’t have a spare.
Below is the complete list of parts, including all spares.
$130 shipped or best reasonable offer.
$160 shipped with 3 cell 1350mah MegaPower lipo
$190 shipped with Two 3 cell 1350mah MegaPower lipos
6 channel CPCPM Transmitter - 72.170MHz
4-in-1 unit with deans battery connection
Three S75 servos, one recently had a partial new gear set installed.
One partial new gear set
One complete new gear set
One set of symmetrical wood blades without the plastic covering
Two sets of plasti-blades. One is brand new never used, the other pair has some nicks in the leading edges but they fly well.
One brand new main shaft & drive gear.
One slightly bent main shaft & drive gear – will fly with a slight wobble.
Complete head with upgraded aluminum swashplate and Bell-Hiller mixer arm upgrade
New set of Bell Mixer Main Blade Grips
Plastic swashplate
EFLH1121 bearings (3 of them)
One aluminum tail boom
One carbon tail boom with motor mount and ground rod
Two additional tail motor mounts with ground rods
New tail motor with 2 flights (12 minutes) of use (heatsink included, wiring already soldered on – I didn’t run the wire in the tail boom, I spiraled it around the boom)
Two tail rotors
Two tail rotor gear and shafts
Main motor with heatsink and 9T pinion
New center hub
10 “jesus pins” – some are eflite, some are homemade
A number of small screws, collars, linkages, mixing arms, washers and carbon sticks
Yellow Blade CP Canopy with grommets – some wear and tear but looks good
If any pictures are needed, I will take some upon request.
