WoW -Where did you get the E-station garbage can :YeaBaby:: Man, you don't mess around, looks like you got those AT batteries and jumpped right into getting things setup. I have the same charger, but have yet to connect to my computer. Nice job! Heli looks great.

LOLOLOL, yea it does kinda look like a garbage can doesn't it, I use it to throw all my cords and balance boards in and threw some stickers on it one day, Yea I got the AT batteries and have just did their first charge I will try them out in the morning, the PC interface is cool but kinda loses its pizazz after a while you can get the same info on the charger just not the graph
As far as the power supply I think It is AWESOME and works perfect, I got it for a little over 60.00 from Jackedupcustoms.com and it looks cool and works great so I would reccomend it for sure.
+1 on the power supply. Got mine last week and now can do mutiple chargers at the same time. Seems to be a very nice unit.

Nice setup. I really liked the BC8 interface. Thumbs up on the airthunder batteries too :).
So what power supply is this?
I am thinking about getting a ~65 amp 15v power supply from china/ebay for around $200 so that I can have the option to charge 3 AirThunder batteries at 2C all at once with 3 0610i net chargers. I only have one 0610i net right now though and will probably only get one more to keep up with the 6 airthunders batteries I have.
One nice thing about the airthunder batteries that I noticed is that they seem to not go into the CV part of the charge until around the last 10% of the charge so they can get 2C charging all the way up to around 90% charge. Since I usually only pull out around 3400mah I can get the battery to 95% charged in about 20 - 25 minutes at 2C on the 0610i Net charger.
With 2 chargers I could split that time in half and have a battery coming off the charger at 95% charged in about 12 minutes. The main problem is finding a power supply that can provide at least 15v at a minimum of 44 amps to power two of the 0610i net chargers without spending an arm and a leg on one.

I think you would be better off putting the battery IN the can in case of a fire. It will certainly be better than charging on cardboard ;)
I charge in a $9 ceramic pot myself.

I'm pretty sure all lipos do that. It's up to the charger anyway, right?
Looking good Tommy. :YeaBaby:

Yep you can actually charge 3C with Flightpower 30 although it is not "recommended"

Different batteries in my experience go into CV stage at different times on the same charger is what i was trying to say. I have an apex battery that goes into CV stage at about 75% charge at 1C... I am not sure how much of that is because of the age of the battery though.
If you put more current into a battery to charge it, the battery will go into CV stage at a lower percentage of charge too it seems. And what I mean by the CV stage is that the voltage will go to 4.2v per cell so the charger will have to reduce current. This is one reason why going to 3C doesn't gain as much reduced charge time as you would think according to what I have heard. I haven't ever tried a 3C charge.

Hey Flyboy. I charge mine in a pottery pot like you can get at home depot. The clay type. I guess this is ceramic like previously mentioned. These things are supposed to be good in fire from what I understand.
I want to find a lid of some sort for it. Don't know if this is an option for you, but just throw in this flower pot and always charge outside. I know this is not possible for everyone, but your safest bet...

I often wondered why some people have mentioned that they fully charge their battery (adding all that time) when they do the 20/80 rule anyway? Seems like with the AT batts and your charger, you just charge to 90% and then fly until it looses power. Sounds like a great solution instead of charging for almost an hour and then only using 80%. I like your idea with the batts every 12 min. I don't have that time to fly that much right now, but that seems ideal.
I like the ceramic pot, but use a $20 Home Depot firesafe myself. Can stuff all the batts in it for transport too.
