Okay i finished setup my mini Titan but i have been having problems with the tail... I have tried even without a gyro and connected the tail servo straight to to the RX, nothing changed.

To keep the tail straight on hovering, i need to keep the TX stick at almost 75% RH... Otherwise the tail makes the heli spin LH all the time... I tought i was having a hard time with the gyro but like i said, even without the gyro i get the same result.

My neutral mechanical setup is perfect 90 degrees servo arm and centered pitch link when servo in neutral. There is certainly something obvious i am overlooking here, please HELP!!

When you initialize the gyro is the red light blinking? Sounds like your not initializing in Heading Hold mode.

EDIT**** Is it a 401 or something else?

The gyro is an EFlite G90... I am turning it on in HH mode, but even then, like i said i have the problem with no gyro connected.

:Slap That gyro doesn't work very well, you really need to get a 401. Lets see if we can't get it working. How's it mounted? What channels do you have it plugged into? What radio? Do you have your subtrim set to the middle for your rudder channel?

The gyro is connected to channel 4 and sensitivity to channel 5 of my Futaba T6EX. It's mounted just above the tail boom. All trims to zero

Is it laying flat on it's back with the gain adjustment point straight up like you mount a 401?

Have you tried to mechanically setup the gyro in rate mode? In rate mode with all your trims at 0 and your arm at 90* (like you said you have), move the rudder servo on the boom until the heli will hover without rudder input. Then try it in HH mode and see how it works.

For a better description, check out ******'s video on the Logictech 2100T, he does the same thing with that gyro.http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=44785&highlight=logictech+video

Also, check out the Finless Videos section. The Heli Skills and Setip 101 (http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692) section has some links to gyro setup as well.

I was actually able to hover 5 packs today... The tail has a slight tendancy of slipping to the right but i got rid of it by trimming... I watched Finless's HDX300 and ******'s vids and took a few hints there, i'll be reviewing the gyro setup tomorrow and test fly it some more.

After about 10 packs of trying to completely eliminate drifting and having a steady HH with the E-Flite G90, got sick of it and slapped a GY401 instead... The conclusion: took 2 minutes to install and setup the 401 for a perfect tail... The LHS is taking the G90 back, i'm happy.

Well, there are two possible why the tail is turning to one side.
1) the tail blade is not straitend at the neutral position
2) the tailboom is bended or the tail blade are not 90 aligned
