Any particular reason FP runs their main leads out each side of the battery instead of both out one side or the other?
I think it makes for a very sloppy setup.

I have been saying that for a while now. From what I was told the newest packs will be coming with the wire exiting the same side. I have no idea if this is true or not though.

Well, I guess the two packs I just got in today aren't quite the newest then since they are the old style. You end up loosing about 2" off one of the wires because you have to double it back. Doesn't make any sense to me.

the main reasons are because here in the UK, where FlightPower started, the majority of pilots use 4mm bullet connectors, and having them coming out the sides increases chances of shorting. New packs now come with wires coming out the same side, balance tap out the other side.
