JRPR2100 10CH Single Conv. Synth Receiver. I'm not familiar with this Rx. If I'm going to replace my current JR 649PCM with the 2100 then I can assume I'll have to replace my Tx module as well.

Any info/experience good or bad with the 2100? Possibly putting it on a gasser heli.

Thanks for any input.

You shouldn't have to. The Synth Rx just allows it to use any channel without swapping crystals. You don't need a Synth module in the Tx to use it.

Interesting. How does it know to recognize my Tx on ch 49 say, and not everyone else's on the field. Do you pre-program it somehow?

Anyone had any vibe issues with it?

Thanks again for any input.

I haven't used the 10 ch, but the R790 you pushed and held a button on teh Rx while the Tx was on, and then when it found the Tx, you pushed it again.

It is like a normal crystal Rx, it doesn't know one ch 49 Tx from another.

Only the 2.4 GHz systems ensure that they only listen to the proper Tx. The Bergsa nd soe other DSP Rxes do recognize the Tx signal "signature" and only respond to it, but that is learned each time you turn it on, so you can fire it up with another Tx on, and it will be happy to listen to that one.
