phoenix now wiil not start

Hi guys, any bright ideas here?
I started phoenix today latest version been working ok for days, no sound? go to sound setting see there is a choice now, switched to the other one don't know what it is called, get message Phoenix need to restart for new settings
re start
now won't go past front load up screen that the bar loads across, microsoft message that Phoenix rc.exe has encountred a problem and need to close
usual do you want to sent to microsoft ect ect.
try restart compter
tried restore to earlier date
please dont tell me me iIhave to reload all the updates again to get it to work

I would reload the program. And they now have a single update to 1.04i. If you don't delete the files, all the models loaded should still be there.

Souds like a file got corrupted.

Or your sound drivers arent current. try downloading/updating those first.

I had similar problems on one of my computers. After reinstallation of 104i did not help, Phoenix suggested to upgrade the graphics driver. I found a newer driver and this improved things though once on a while it still crashes (always when trying to select a new model).

I have no problems with two other computers (different models).

BTW, if you want to reinstall from scratch, after you uninstall you have to delete two directories (don't remember their names, I think one is under Program File and one is under your user data directory).
