3rd Annual Aprils Fools Heli Fly In
March 29th, 2008 is the Spartanburg Sky Knights 3rd Annual April Fool's Helicopter event. Any and all gas, nitro or electric helicopters are welcome. There is NO LANDING FEE, we are trying to promote the RC helicopter hobby in the Spartanburg area.

Registration starts at 9 AM and flying starts by 9:30 AM and goes on until ?? Current AMA membership is required to fly. Please consider joining us for a day to learn or to just have fun. Restrooms and concessions available.

I like the no landing fee. Last year was great weather and lots of helicopters.

It is a Saturday only event.
You could stay at the main State Park camping area a few miles away.

Well talked with Roger Marshall today who I think is the co-founder of my local R/C field (kershaw county flyers) and he said he might stop by and do an artical for Model Aviation.

Thanks again to the Sky Knights for the hospitality at yesterdays fun fly. Albeit, a little damp and windy many of us toughed it out and had a great time with friends and a fabulous lunch. On behalf of the Helihead's of Arden, NC --- Thank you !

I want to Thank all that came to our 3rd Anual Flyin and tough out Mother Nature`s Weather. The Flying was always great as usual and had a great time . Hope next year will be better weather . Its always great to see the Pros come and put on a show.Thanks again .
