Because SmartPropoPlus doesn't support Vista yet.
As of version: 3.3.3
So I am thinking it would be nice to have a list of USB adapters that are known to work with Vista.

I don't know if either of these work with Vista, I think the are really the same one.
All e RC has this one for $10 which seems like a pretty good price.

GWFSM002B $10

I am using the Hitec one, but it seems to have been discontinued, anyone know why?
And I don't know if the Hitec one works with Vista either.

Does anyone know if the GWFSM002B adapter works with Vista?
This would be that adapter for a JR/DX6/DX7 type radio.

I have read that it doesn't but I am thinking that it is getting lumped in with FMS which doesn't work with Vista without some work and a dll and then with mixed results.

So if you have a USB adapter that works with Vista please post what you have.
It would also be nice to hear which sim your are using it with like: HeliSimRC or ClearView or ...
It would also be nice to hear which ones don't work as well, if there really are some.
Thanks!

Well I have heard from galaxiex that the E-sky usb controller works with Vista Home Premium.

My Hitec usb to JR 1/8" mono adapter works just fine on a HP/Compaq nx5000 laptop with Vista Enterprise.

FMS also seems to work fine, but I had to copy over the d3drm.dll file from Windows XP and put it in C:\WINDOWS\system32, but it also might depend on your video driver as well.

MileHighWings http://www.milehighwings.com/ replied to my email and say that their USB adapter works with Vista.
