What's with the lack of action in the MA forum. Seems like all anybody flies anymore are t-rex. What am I missing??

Run Ryder is pretty active right now on the MA forum. it seems to go back and forth on activity between the two. however i would like to state for the record that Helifreak is the best

I think that the only reason people post things is to put negative things about their machines. I have a tempest FAI, an Tempest 3d, a razor electric and a razor nitro. While I havent flown a great deal in the last six months, my MA's are the only machines that I bring home, give a quick wipe down, and put away. I rarely have to do any maintenance.

Maybe we should start a thread on what we like about our machines rather than problems we have. Maybe it will get more active then.

Good point Glenn.

I still love my 10s Ion-x, esp. the SS Actro powered one. Fly, charge batteries, and fly again. Very little maintenance required and just a feather duster to clean it!

Cheers,
Tom C

I agree with two aussies above, sorry Tom. I only use MA helis because of the reliability and flight perforance, so there's nothing to complain about.

Hello, yeah there isn't much to talk about when it all just works.

I love my Ion-X2 here. It's currently my best flying and most powerful ship. Charging up some packs to go fly it today.

Just finished building my 2nd MA ship, an electric Razor. This is one heck of a tough and well built machine, can't wait to maiden it today. In a few weeks I'm planning on taking it up to the 12S arena. Should be fun.

Chachin..

I saw Bobby's 12s razor in person and it was sick. Good luck!

i recently went through a 4 month stint of no crashes with my E-Razor (thats over now thanks to a lock out) which was about 10-12 hours in the air and it really showed that this thing has no weak areas. of course it is well balanced (vibration wise). im no ace 3d guy but i give it a good work out with my unpolished routines and i cant remember it even needing a bolt tightened. i would do a complete pre-flight about every 5-10 flights. there was no signs of wear over this 4 month period, none!!!!. even the ball links were in good shape. i dont see me buying anything other than MA in the future. next is a spectra then ill figure out which one i can hang a turbine under.

You've got the wrong man! I fly a Stratus and hopefully before too long will have a nitro Razor. Good luck with the X2, MA's rock!

It seems the only thing that needs to be talked about much is part numbers after a crash or when a new something comes out.

There's not much in the way of upgrades to talk about and setup is per the manual.

There are a couple of other things that I think are keeping the forum a little slower than others. The main thing is that folks in the Mini Air forum are not the newest of the new heli pilots. If it's post counts you're looking for, check out the E 400/450, Raptor 30/50 forums. It seems that the cost and commitment to a Stratus 90 is enough to filter out most of the pitch/throttle curve, which way do the thrust bearings go, what's a good fuel, do I need a gyro, I hit house with my heli what should I do... type questions. (If you're asking these questions and flying a Tempest 90/Radix 720's, you're getting a heck of a deal on you AMA insurance!)

I am planning to build a 50 E machine, my two canidated are E razor and T rex 600 E.

I am realy confusing to choose one of the two, all of the people flying at the field flying T rex brand and they suggesting me that I should go with T rex 600 E. I myself had a t rex 600 nitro and I had to pay $300 more to upgrade this mechine to make it up to standard quality. I have researched on the cost of T rex 600 E + upgrade this mechine will be equal to the cost of E razor. I would like you all with E razor heli give me some opinions about these two?

Thanks

You can rest assured, if you go with MA there'll be zero upgrades, maximum fun, minimum heartarce and you just might convert some of your mates to MA
